The WinTE-7000 enables the replacement of legacy instruments with compatible new instruments, without modifying the existing software, drivers, or TPSs, therefore eliminating the need for the re-hosting of legacy test systems. WinTE-7000, WinSoft Test instruments Emulator, is the only technology that enables the life extension of the entire legacy test systems.
Our new generation of software is based on and is compatible with the WinSoft Instrument System Emulator (WISE), which has been extending the life of more than 150 legacy ATEs, since 2003. This includes the life extension of many critical military test systems such as Trident test systems, F-15 testers, and various Navy testers. In addition to saving tens of millions of dollars (see ROI table below), the WinTE-7000 helps to significantly reduce the downtime of the upgraded test system

The WinTE 7000 concept
WinTE-7000 is designed around a scalable architecture that enables incremental replacement of instruments as budget and schedule permits.
One unit, 1U-high, supports the emulation of multiple and different test instruments simultaneously, regardless of the manufacturer, programming language and the interface bus. These features make the WinTE-7000 the most cost-effective solution for replacing obsolete instruments.
As part of the WinSoft innovative architecture, the WinTE-7000 supports the most crucial element of a typical replacement process - timing differences. In some cases, the new instrument is faster than the old instrument and in other cases, it is slower.
The WinTE-7000 supports both scenarios.
As the WinTE-7000 does not require access to the legacy software, TPSs changes and TPS revalidation, it significantly reduces the cost and time it takes to upgrade a legacy ATE. Additionally, this unique feature enables a seamless upgrade and life extension of military sensitive test systems.
WinTE-7000 supports standard communication protocols such as GPIB, RS232, USB and TCP/IP, and standard instruments such as Rack & Stack, PXI, and LXI.
It works with any existing programming languages such as ATLAS, HP-BASIC and FORTRAN and does not require tools and processes such as an ATLAS translator or ATLAS migration. A built-in debugger ensure a fast and effective upgrade process. A PXI version is available for a PXI chassis which becomes a virtual instrument.
The following ROI is based on averages which were calculated based on data found in more than 100 test stations: (1) 250 Hours per TPS development (Re-writing Cost), 200 Hours per TPS validation (Re-Validation Cost), WinTE 7000 development, support and integration for 3 new instruments, Total cost of re-hosting and migration without WinTE-7000:

Testimonials
“Hi All,
The 53150 counter project is going smoothly and there are no outstanding issues.
Thanks to all who participated in these projects. We have a happy customer who is ready to engage with us on different replacements. I look forward to winning more business together.”
Keysight Technologies
"As a side bar, my preliminary assessment is that the Winsoft solution is going to be the best possible replacement for the HP 8566B. So far it is the least problematic and is closest to a direct replacement. I say this without conducting any finalized testing but I wanted you to know your group is leading in this competition. Keep up the good work and good luck" -
“I will be sure to inform others that may be looking into similar analyzer replacement about WinSoft's products and diligence in helping to solve problems”
Lockheed Martin
“...his recommendation was to fund the effort to upgrade if the program is going to last an additional 5-8 years. His report says he is confident that the Winsoft Technology along with Winsoft€’s excellent support assures success. The guys at BAE were very impressed with your help, attitude, and quick response to their questions”
“My first run was this weekend. Three of the units loaded nicely. I did get a command to successfully pass to the
Rhode & Schwarz unit”
BAE Systems
“The IPT researched and contacted several ATS product referrals. Similar technologies and products were also researched via E-Commerce websites. They eventually decided on a products demonstration from threevendors: two from the ATS product referral list and a third from its E-Commerce website... A number one concern when purchasing new applications is the cost and time it will take to migrate from old technology to new. The objectives pursued here were to upgrade or replace the test stations in a timely and cost-effective manner...Instead of being replaced, the ATSs are now being upgraded insteps as budget permitted. The estimated life extension of our radio frequency (RF) ATS platform is now 15 years”
Raytheon
...At the end of this process, the ATSs IPT calculated a cost avoidance of over $2 million during Phase I and cost avoidance of more than $12 million during Phase II allowing an additional five ATS platforms to be upgraded within budget. An overall cumulative cost avoidance of $22 million was calculated for all seven ATS platform upgrades. This calculation is based on the Department of Defense costs for rewriting and revalidation of the more than 200 TPS. The down-time of the upgraded ATS platforms that utilize the Technology went from 50 percent to less than 2 percent”
