WinSoft Corp. Introduces the New PXI-WISE
September 6, 2006 – Santa Ana, CA – WinSoft Inc., a recognized world leader in the development and integration of Test & Measurement Systems, have responded to the growing need of replacement of obsolete instruments while reducing the ATE (Automated Test Equipment) footprint.
The WISE Technology (patent pending) enables the replacement of old instruments without ANY modification to the existing software. The multi-WISE comes in two versions: (1) 1U unit per ATE (2) PXI-WISE version (NEW)
The PXI version of the Multi-WISE software runs on National Instruments PXI controller (slot “0”) and converts a populated PXI chassis into a Virtual Instrument which is used as a replacement for legacy instruments.
The WISE Technology has been operating for 3 years while enabling life extensions for ATEs such as the Trident ballistic missile, F-15 testing and various Navy Radio testers.
The PXI-WISE supports GPIB, TCP/IP and USB and a mix of PXI and Rack Mounted instruments.
The official announcement will take place during AutoTestCon 2006, followed by a Technical Session “Protecting Investment in Legacy TPSs”, Wednesday, September 20, 2006, 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Room: Coronado E/F
