 WinSoft Radio Testers provide RF signals (audio or data) to a variety of radios while offering modular Software and Hardware Test environments.
WinSofts flexible approach enables adaptation to a variety of radio types. Our testers are used for testing radios in the design and development process, manufacturing process, adjustments, repair and calibration.
As an example, a receiver only type radio will require a signal generator to simulate the transmitted RF signal. The RF stimulus signal is modulated with the voice/data simulated information. This modulated RF signal is connected to the input of the radio. The audio/data output of the radio will require a signal analyzer to measure the audio quality and performance.
A transceiver type radio will require an additional RF analyzer to verify the radio transmitter signal performance.
The WinSoft Radio Tester is based on NI hardware and software and enables programming under LabVIEW and TestStand, with interchangeable modules and space for future growth.
