LX-104

WinSoft Inc., a leading supplier of test systems and obsolescence solutions, announced immediate availability of the LX-104 product. The
LX-104 is a set of fully integrated hardware and software components, providing control and communication for Custom Electronic Units (i.e., RF Switching Box, Data Acquisition Unit). The LX-104 was designed with a scalable architecture and includes TCP/IP Client drivers for LabVIEW or C/C++ running on a PC. This Client communicates with a TCP/IP Server, running under optimized Linux OS, installed on a PC-104 in your Custom Electronic Unit. WinSoft’s real time optimized Linux runs without a Hard Drive, boots from a Compact Flash Card and does not require shutdown. The Linux SDK is included in the LX-104 for quick and easy application development and deployment.
“LX-104 enables your crucial application to run even if your PC fails or needs to be rebooted. Furthermore, changes in the PC (new OS, etc.) will not affect your Electronic Unit application. LabVIEW and C/C++ programming provides full control of your Electronic Unit over transparent TCP/IP communication. For example, the I/O relay module and the Analog/Digital I/O module can be activated and controlled from the LabVIEW code on your PC” said Ehud Shany, WinSoft CEO. “WinSoft’s unique Linux version together with several LX-104 units, support parallel processing in Real Time”

LX-104 and its optional modules are available immediately under a 90 day discount program. Custom modules are available as an R&D projects.
